Akumal Dive Shop we are a diving and adventure tourism center in Akumal and the Riviera Maya with more than 30 years teaching diving and organizing all classes of excursions to the different cenotes, reefs and all the attractions that the Caribbean of Mexico hides.

We have our own facilities for PADI diving courses. We have all the levels certified by this international diving organization, with us you can obtain the certificate that allows you to practice anywhere in the world. We also have classes for all ages, even children who can do the “Bubblemaker” with us.

On the other hand, at Akumal Dive Shop we know that we are in a natural and cultural paradise so we don't just limit ourselves to exploring underwater; We also organize guided tours to the most recognized archaeological areas of the state of Quintana Roo such as Tulum, Cobá or Chichen Itzá. We also take you to see the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve where you can contemplate the different colors of its lagoon and the great variety of different birds that live here.

We have 2 different types of tours in our center specially prepared for a day of adventure:

• Visit to the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve: If you like ecotourism, this tour is for you. This is the complete tour of the park where we also go by boat through its mangroves until you reach the Bocapila Lagoon. After about 11 km of crossing through narrow corridors we will see Mayan temples until we reach the Chunyaxche lagoon where we can swim. We will visit the archaeological zone of Muyil.

• Archaeological zones: We take you in all-inclusive packages, both transportation, food and guides to visit the main archaeological zones of the Yucatan Peninsula, that is, Tulum, Chichen Itza. and Cobá.

• Robinson Crusoe Tour: This is a day trip that lasts 5 hours around the bay. We will stop to eat on the beautiful Chemuyil beach. We do the tour aboard a 36-foot catamaran.

We have 2 types of boats fully equipped for deep fishing. One of them is for a maximum of 4 people and the other for a group of up to 6 people. These are boats with all the comforts and include fishing lines, rods, hooks, bait, as well as all the tackle that will be necessary on your fishing day. Our guides will take you to the best fishing spots depending on the season and will help you with each of the catches you make during the 3-hour excursion. You can fish for barracuda, sailfish, tuna, goldfish or marlin.
