If you are looking for a high mountain excursion to the peak of Iztaccihuatl, GBM offers you a two-day guided expedition to “La Mujer Dormida”, the third largest volcano high of Mexico.
Leaving from Mexico City, the tour begins in “La Joya” and advances to the first mountain refuge in a 5-hour walk with 3 lunch breaks. The next day, at dawn you will be reaching the summit at more than 5 thousand meters above sea level, and then continue climbing to a second glacial peak.
The package includes round-trip transportation to La Joya, entrance to the park, a tent, water, snacks, mountain meals, camprones and ice axe. However, you have to bring all your personal equipment (slepping bag, flashlight, etc.) yourself.

- Visit to the Yohualichan Totonac Archaeological Zone.
- Nothing in its streams, pools of water and springs.

Live the adventure of traveling fast rivers in Kayak with Going Barefoot Mexico. This network of adventure athletes and expert “backpackers” offer you a guided excursion to Tlapacoyan, Veracruz, to descend the Filobobos River.
This tour is 4 days, and you will row approximately 25 km. starting from the community of Puente Filo to the La Palmilla bridge.
The trip leaves Mexico City until reaching the river camp in the municipality of Tlapacoyan. There the tents will be set up, to have dinner and wake up early the next day.
Now ready for the kayak, the first part of theinstruction consists of controlling the paddling and direction of the boat, to later teach how to descend fast rivers.
Once the instruction is finished, on the last day there will be two descents: one panoramic to admire the landscape and another fun in rapids to Put into practice everything you learned the day before.
