Iguana Expediciones are an ecotourism and adventure tourism company that organizes excursions and outdoor activities, with special emphasis on hiking, rappelling and mountain biking .

We are a company that offers family experiences, that's why we offer you expeditions that can make children from 7 years old onwards . We have routes for all levels. Our scheduled excursions are for very basic levels, but if you want a more personalized excursion we offer you customized routes since we know several alternatives to cover your adrenaline needs.

We take you on hike through the middle and high mountains , always fully equipped so you don't get tired and enjoy the experience, taking care of all the details, even before starting the excursion.

For mountain biking excursions we ask you to come with your bike since we do not have rentals equipment. It is important that you go to the appointment with a good security team since for Iguana Expeditions your safety is the most important thing.

Iguana Expeditions organize guided nature hike excursions, trekking expeditions of middle and high mountains in the state of Puebla and its surroundings.

Among our many mountain destinations, in Iguana Expediciones we take you from:

- Red Collapsed Volcano : This is a very little known volcano located in the Sierra de Guadalupe de Victoria, in Puebla. You can not only admire the landscapes from its 3 thousand meters high, but you can also see their fumaroles.

- Laguna de Atexcac : This is an incredible landscape that is located in the town of San Luis Atexcac.

Let's go from cycling to Perote , in the state of Veracruz, very close to Puebla. Our Mountain Biking excursions are organized for cyclists of intermediate and advanced level as much of the route consists of ascents and descents.

Our guides are specialized in ecotourism and know the route perfectly. Approximately, we are going to pedal about 65 kilometers between ascents and descents. In fact, we start from 2400 meters, climb first to 3200 and then descend to 1280.

The route leaves from and Perote, passing through Rancho Nuevo, La Toma, Tonalaco and reaching Xico .

For our cycling circuits you need to provide your own equipment. You have to come with your mountain bike in good condition, helmet and gloves.

Are you looking for a height challenge? In Iguana Expeditions we offer you the opportunity to make a descent from rappel up to 50 meters high .

We go on an excursion to the Perote Canyon. Once we have reached the most appropriate point for the descent, in Iguana Expediciones we will help you with the descent . It is a rappel that has to be done in free fall because it is very high, however it will be very simple thanks to the help of our instructors.
