Barrakuda Scuba México we are a water activities center that offers you fun in the heart of the Riviera Maya. Our headquarters are inside the Hotel Valentín Imperial Maya, near Playa del Carmen

Our main activity is diving since we are a specialized school that organizes courses, certifications and expeditions in the Caribbean and in the Cenotes of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Being in this location we have direct access to the sea, with direct access to the most beautiful reefs, which is why we offer you in addition to diving excursions, snorkeling excursions , thinking of all those people who do not have accreditation.

We also have an excellent fleet of fully equipped boats so you can also practice sport fishing in the company of expert and local captains so you can spend a day at sea fishing peacefully with your group of friends.

For those who do not have their diving certification at Barakuda Scuba México we organize snorkeling excursions. We are at the Valentine Imperial Maya Hotel where we have our activity center. We invite you to put on your mask and board our boat to discover new worlds.

We offer you 2 different alternatives for snorkeling excursions:

- Reefs: Aboard a comfortable boat we leave from our headquarters in Playa del Carmen to perfect reef points where without diving too deep you can clearly see marine gardens, fish, corals, sponges, starfish and many more surprises. Another alternative that we also like at Barrakuda Scuba México is to go to the Cozumel National Marine Park, a protected environment where snorkeling is a privilege.

- Cenotes: They are open caves in the middle of the jungle where salt water and fresh water mix, linked by underground tunnels. Some can be seen without having to dive, just by entering through easy access, swimming a little and reaching incredible semi-dry caverns where there are incredible stalactites and stalagmites adorning the scene.

Barrakuda Scuba Mexico we are a dive center located inside the Hotel Valentín Imperial Maya near Playa del Carmen so we have excellent facilities for theoretical and practical classes in the pool, as well as direct access to the sea for our excursions.

At Barrakuda Scuba Mexico we offer you the following activities:

- Diving expeditions: If you have diving accreditation, we offer you excursions to dive in the reefs of the Caribbean with one or two tanks, in the best points of the Riviera Maya. Another option is to go to the island of Cozumel to dive in the national marine park and explore a protected area. On the other hand, those looking for a more exciting challenge we offer diving expeditions in cenotes which are hidden caves in the earth that are connected by underground tunnels.

- Courses: If you want to obtain your diving certificate you are in the perfect place because we offer you all PADI levels such as Scuba Diver, Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue, Reefs or Divemaster.

- Specialties: For those who need special training we offer night diving courses, diving in caverns and caves, nitrox, navigation, among others.

Barrakuda Scuba Mexico we organize your sport fishing excursions in the Caribbean in private excursions that depart from our marine dock at the Valentín Imperial Maya Hotel. /p>

For sport fishing excursions we put 2 boats at your disposal, they are defined depending on the number of people in the group. The boats are fully equipped to find the best fishing areas, capture large fish and with all the necessary gear so you can do the activity comfortably.
