At Sunrider we offer you one of the most anticipated activities every year in La Paz, BCS, we refer to swimming with whale sharks. We want to take you to live aunique and unforgettable experience by being able to observe and swim alongside these incredible mammals.

We carry out this activity only in the season from October to April, since that is when we can find whale sharks in Mexican waters, they travel several thousand miles to get here in search of food, reproduce and give birth to their young, and they do it here because they seek the warm waters that this sea offers them.

Watching them swim and play in their natural habitat is a fascinating experience. The whale shark is the largest fish in the world, as it can measure up to 12 m long and weigh up to 17 tons, however, despite their great size and weight, they are very docile and friendly animals, being able to feel their nobility when being so close to them is an incomparable sensation.

Our certified and experienced staff will accompany you at all times so that you feel safe and will give you advice so that you can enjoy this moment to the fullest. Don't forget your camera, preferably waterproof, so you can capture these incredible moments and take them with you as a souvenir.

Sunrider Snorkel offers you a boat ride to reach the Bay ofSanta María or El Chileno to enjoy its underwater beauty.

It is thanks to a mask and snorkel that you will be able to explore the seabed without the need for prior experience or courses. In the Sea of Cortez there are a large number of marine species that are worth seeing and knowing. All the underwater beauty will be within your reach with the snorkeling activity.

The hours of this tour are from Monday to Saturday from 11 in the morning to 2:30 in the afternoon. Remember that children under 10 years of age enter the tour for free. On the way back we offer a Mexican food buffet and refreshing drinks on board. You can also cool off with a fresh water shower and remove the salt from your body.

Every day we offer the sunset dinner tour from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in summer and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in winter. Remember that children under 10 years old enter for free, so the whole family can be part of this tour.
