At Sunrider we offer you one of the most anticipated activities every year in La Paz, BCS , we refer to swimming with whale sharks. We want to take you to live a unique and unforgettable experience by being able to observe and swim with these incredible mammals.

We carry out this activity only in the season from October to April , since this is when we can find whale sharks in Mexican waters, they travel several thousand miles to get here in search of They feed, reproduce and give birth to their young , and they do it here because they seek the warm waters that this sea offers them.

Watching them swim and play in their natural habitat is a fascinating experience. The whale shark is the largest fish in the world , as it can measure up to 12 m long and weigh up to 17 tons, however, despite their large size and weight, they are very docile and friendly animals, being able to feel their nobility by being so close to them is an incomparable sensation.

At Sun Rider we offer you the perfect alternative if you are looking to do diving in the Sea of ​​Cortez “The Aquarium of the world” in Los Cabos.

All our excursions begin in Cabo San Lucas, from here we depart towards Todos Santos, an incredible and magical super traditional place very close to Los Cabos. After breakfast we embark again towards La Paz where we will board the“Sun Rider”, our super-equipped boat.

On the boat we will have all the material for diving. One of our favorite diving spots is Espiritu Santo Island since it is home to a wide variety of marine species, rock formations and where we can see a colony of sea lions up close. This natural reserve is so rich that it is protected by UNESCO.

The visibility in this area is excellent, if you have a diving certificate it is an almost mandatory experience to live during your vacation in Los Cabos. During our trips we are going to dive in 2 different locations to choose from: Los Islotes, El Bajo, Salvatierra, Fang Ming, Cañonero C-54, Lapas 03 or La Reyna.

Sunrider Snorkel offers you a boat ride to reach the Bay ofSanta María or El Chileno to enjoy its underwater beauty.

It is thanks to a mask and snorkel that you will be able to explore the seabed without the need for prior experience or courses. The hours of this tour are from Monday to Saturday from 11 in the morning to 2:30 in the afternoon. Remember that children under 10 years of age enter the tour for free.
