San Juan Chamula and Zinacant Indigenous Peoples Tour

On this tour we will visit churches, learn about the religion and beliefs of Chamula and Zinacatán, Chiapas. We pick you up to enter the market of San Juan Chamula, where we can see regional handicrafts. We will also visit the church of San Juan Bautista.

We will be filled with traditions and culture, explained by our regional guide, who will accompany you at all times. We will go for a walk in the surroundings, we will give you some time so that you can explore the regional crafts, and buy some. We will enjoy a lunch based on beans, handmade tortillas, organic coffee and an extra local drink.

At the end we move to the community of Zinacatán , a place that has become famous for its waist loom, being here we will enjoy a delicious traditional meal that will consist of: organic coffee , handmade tortillas with beans and a typical regional drink. All prepared by a crazy family, while they accompany us to talk more about these places.

Finally, we will observe the San Lorenzo Church, to be back at approximately 3:00 in the afternoon.
