At Cerro del Colihui we offer you:

• Agrotourism: Tour of the forestry, agricultural and ornamental plant production nursery, where we work with the best technology in plant production under a tube production scheme, aerial micro-sprinkler irrigation and improved substrates.
• Horseback riding: Tour on horses through the common use area of the Atoluca ejido with approximately 760 hectares, crossing the mesophilic mountain forest where endemic flora and fauna species stand out. The transect has two stops at viewpoints where the natural beauty of forest areas with forest management is emphasized.
• Hiking: Interpretive Trails; In this case, walks will be carried out through the Cerros de la Bandera, Cerro de Tacotepeth and Cerro del Colihui, with the aim of appreciating and valuing the natural riches of the mountain cloud forest.
• Brush waterfall: One of the main characteristics of the natural beauties of the Cerro del Colihui Mesophilic Forest are its attractive waterfalls, highlighting the scenic presence of the brush waterfall accompanied by a large number of bodies of water throughout the forest.
• Temazcal: The “Temazcal” bath service (healing, aesthetic or traditional steam type) and traditional medicine are provided.

According to the uses and beliefs of the visitors, the “Energy Cleansing” service will also be at their disposal, based on the mystical-religious beliefs of the Nahuatl culture.
Traditional medicine and organic products from the region are for sale, developed by a group of ejidatario women.

There are three emblematic mountains, Cerro de la Bandera, Cerro de Tacotepeth and Cerro del Colihui, approximately 7.00 km long along the Bosque de Niebla, where ecotourism and ecotourism activities are currently carried out. of environmental education both with schools and local inhabitants (from the city and the countryside) as well as with national touristsand foreigners. The horseback riding routes are carried out through the areas of the Ejido de Atoluca, which has an approximate surface area of about 760 hectares, all of them of mountain cloud forest; that is, a scene of trees, mountains, bushes, caves, springs and waterfalls.

On the route that we have traced in Cerro de Colihui Cabalgatas, designed by and for our visitors, we are going to stop at two viewpoints, where we can more easily see the great wealth of this place from a privileged perspective.

On the Cerro de Colihui Walk is one of our special services that you can find in the ecotourism park. The Cerro de Colihui Walk is part of a conservation project of the great wealth of flora and fauna that the cloud forest houses.

Our ecotourism center is made up of three emblematic mountains: Cerro de la Bandera, Cerro de Tacotepeth and Cerro de Colihui. Taking advantage of our wooded surface and abundant vegetation, we take you on interpretive hiking, learning step by step about the many animal and plant species that exist in the region thanks to the explanations of our specialized guides.

In addition, we want to take you to one of the most beautiful landscapes that the center houses, the Cascada del Cepillo. It is a circuit of waterfalls that give this place a special touch of magic and serenity that enchants all our visitors.
