Reserve we are an organization that manages ecotourism and adventure activities in theTehuacán / Cuicatlán Reserve, a space distributed between the states of Puebla and Oaxaca . Among the services we offer within the park you will findguided walks, bird watching, horseback riding through landscapes, mountain bike rides and guided tours through towns and archaeological zones.

For observation activities we highlight the sighting of “green macaws”, one of the most beautiful and exotic Mexican birds. The walks are along the “Green River”, hiking along the river bank.

We also offer guided mountain biking tours or horse riding routes for those passionate about equestrian activities. Our tours range from 4, 8 to 12 hours. If you like ecotourism, the Tehuacán / Cuicatlán Reserve.

Discover the remains of ancient pre-Hispanic civilizations on the guided tours that we carry out at Resérvate. We are the organization that operates the tours and ecotourism routes within theTehuacán Cuicatlán Biosphere Reserve.

We take you to see the archaeological ruins in Santiago Quiotepec, in the state of Oaxaca. Remains of an ancient city that represent the advanced nature of this culture. Our guides will tell you more about the history of the area.

Also in Resérvate we take you to walk through the streets of the different towns that are part of the Reserve, visiting their churches, contemplating their houses and entering their markets. Learn how the inhabitants of the northern mountains live.

Tehuacán, Santa Ana Teloxtoc, Zapotitlán Salinas, Santa María Tecomavaca, San José del Chilar are just some of the towns that belong to the reserve, go ahead and get to know them in the company of local guides.

Description of Resérvate Mountain Biking

Come and do a mountain biking route in Resérvate. As an ecotourism organization we organize excursions in the Tehuacán Cuicatlán Biosphere Reserve. We are in San José del Chilar, however the natural park covers part of the state of Puebla and another is part of the state of Oaxaca.

We organize the bicycle expeditions at the ecotourism center Pápalo in Oaxaca or in San Juan Raya in Puebla. Different types of landscapes, ecosystems and very different routes to pedal along.

You will always be accompanied by expert guides in ecotourism, that is, trained and local people who will explain the main characteristics of the flora and fauna of the place. You can ride in a forest with abundant vegetation or in a desert surrounded by cacti.

Even at Resérvate we offer you experiences in which you can do different cycling routes, camping in the mountains. This way, you can escape for a full weekend to do your favorite sport in an incredible place, isolated in the middle of nature.

Description of Resérvate Horseback Riding

Get on the horse's back because at Resérvate we invite you to gallop through the landscapes of the Tehuacán /Cuicatlán Biosphere Reserve. We organize horseback rides for small groups through the different mountain and canyon scenarios that are spread throughout the ecological park.

Between Puebla and Oaxaca, this reserve hides incredible landscapes that will be seen differently on horseback. It is also a perfect activity to share with friends and have a fun and different time.

It is not necessary to have previous experience, the horses are friendly and it is easier than it seems. Our guides will accompany you throughout the route, explaining the highlights of each of the different scenarios where we will stop.

We also have cabins within the reserve for all those who want to spend the weekend with a bonfire area for an evening under the stars.

Come visit theTehuacán / Cuicatlán Biosphere Reserve. We organize hiking and walking activities along the various routes in the park, all led by guides specialized in ecotourism and nature.

With Resérvate you can enjoy walking through:
