To do the Mezcal Route we offer you two alternatives, you can do the horseback excursion , leaving from our ranch on a guided horseback ride through the fields of agave until arriving at a house that produces artisan mezcal. Another option is to take a guided tour to go to the factory and, once there, learn about the process of extraction and distillation of mezcal, from when it is taken from the agave stem until it is distilled and left to age in clay or wooden pots.
You will be able to meet up to 3 mezcal communities on this route where, in addition to this drink of the gods, you will taste other typical gastronomic products such as garambullos, dates, quiote, field rat, among others. Our expert guides will explain the whole process, step by step and you will even have the opportunity to take a machete and dare to reach the stem of a maguey.Are you ready?
Mezcal has a designation of origin thanks to the royal identity card that was given to the Marqués de Jaral in 1764. With your contribution you will help to continue the work of the communities.

With us you can enjoy a different way of knowing the wide agave landscapes, the nature that surrounds us with tours around the outskirts of the city and even the own capital with different routes that we have designed for each and every one of you so that you can visit the natural attractions that we have.
Our routes are very varied, and range from 5 to 30 kilometers, so you will have a large number to choose from. In addition, you will have a large amount of material to select from, since we have 14 mountain bikes and safety equipment, such as helmets. And so that you do not have problems on your journey, all our tours include hydration and energy bar.
In each of our tours we are accompanied by a professional guide, who will describe part of the information about San Felipe, all the curiosities you want to know, as well as the flora and fauna that surrounds our beautiful municipality.
