Cenote Dive Center we are a diving center specialized in diving in cenotes, that is why we are in the heart of the Mayan jungle, in the town of Tulum. If you want to explore these sacred pre-Hispanic ceremonial centers, come visit us.

For diving lovers, our main service is expeditions in the cenotes of the Caribbean. With our instructors you can explore the Dos Ojos, Taj Mahal or Ponderosa cenotes, among others.

We also have diving courses for those who do not have a diving certificate. If you want to practice diving as a hobby, we have different levels of certification from PADI and SSI, international organizations that allow you to dive in waters around the world with an official accreditation that identifies your level. If you prefer technical diving, we have cave diving courses at different levels.

But at Cenote Dive Center we also care about those who come to visit us with family or friends who don't know how to dive. For this reason, we offer snorkeling excursions in the cenotes departing from Tulum or from Playa del Carmen. If you want to snorkel in the famous reefs of the Caribbean, we offer you the alternative of doing the activity in Playa del Carmen.

And knowing that the history of the cenotes and the mysticism that floats in the jungle environment is closely linked to the Mayan civilization, we take you on guided tours to the main archaeological zones of the Yucatán Peninsula: Tulum, Cobá and Chichen Itza.

Cenote Dive Center we take you on a guided tour to see the main archaeological areas of the Yucatan Peninsula. We are not only limited to taking underwater tours, but we also want to share with you the historical wonders that are found in the middle of the jungle.

AtCenote Dive Center we organize the following tours for you:

- Chichen Itzá: This is the most famous archaeological zone in the country, named in recent years as one of the “New 7 Wonders of the World”. Located in the state of Yucatán, in the colonial town of Valladolid, you can climb the Kukulcan pyramid.

- Cobá: It is one of the oldest, most complete and best preserved Mayan cities that have been discovered in the middle of the jungle.

- Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve: Here we are going to visit the Mayan ruins of Muyil, take a boat ride through the Asunción Lagoon and receive a talk about the type of flora and fauna of the reserve, as well as the history of its pre-Hispanic remains.

Cenote Dive Center we have services for families or groups of friends who want to visit a cenote in the Mayan jungle but do not have a diving certificate. For this we organize snorkeling excursions in cenotes.

Our excursions include the transfers of our clients to these exciting scenarios, so we offer you departures from Tulum and Playa del Carmen.

At Cenote Dive Center we offer you the following excursions:

- Snorkeling in Cenotes: We know how to choose the most suitable cenotes so that while swimming and snorkeling you can admire rock formations, figures of stalactites and stalagmites. It is not necessary to dive to admire many caves, just let yourself be advised by experts.

- Snorkeling in Reefs: If you want to snorkel in the sea and get to know the famous reefs of the Caribbean, we will organize a special expedition in Playa del Carmen. Live corals, colorful fish, sponges, gardens, everything you want to see is inside the water.

- Snorkeling with a whale shark: If you want to see these animals up close, you will have to do it in summer and by swimming. This is an excursion that takes place in the summer months of July, August and September, which is when they reach our shores.

Cenote Dive Center we invite you to go to the heart of the Mayan jungle where the cenotes are to practice diving on expeditions led by experts. If you have an Open Water diving certificate and let yourself be guided by our specialists, you are prepared to face this challenge.

The cenotes are underground aqueous phenomena linked by underground rivers, where salt water and fresh water mix. It is a type of setting that is only found in the Yucatan Peninsula and this is what makes it so special, it is similar to exploring caves and caverns, although the hiding rock formations and their various shapes is what makes this dive something different.

At Cenote Dive Center we take you to explore the cenote of Angelita, Dos Ojos, Aktun Ha, the Gran Cenote, among many others. We are in Tulum, surrounded by all kinds of cenotes, open and closed. If you wish, we can dedicate up to 4 days of your vacation to explore them.

As for our courses at Cenote Dive Center we offer you:

- Recreational courses without certificate: On the one hand, if you haven't practiced diving for a long time, we offer you the option of taking a refresher class with one or two tanks. Likewise, for those who do not have a certificate, we offer an initiation class so they can try this sport.

- PADI: You can obtain your “Open Water” and “Open Water Advanced” certification.

- SSI: We have the specialty of underwater photography, boat diving, boat diving and the course on the use of technical equipment.

We also have very specialized courses indiving in caverns and caves for divers of different levels.
