South Path We are an ecotourism project in which different groups of communities from different ethnic backgrounds that live in different parts of the Lacandon Jungle, Ocote and central valleys, in the state of Chiapas participate.

In our rafting excursions you will travel in inflatable rafts rapids rivers, alternating with quiet areas, the Biosphere Reserve of the Blue Mountains, crossing the Lacanja river and knowing archaeological sites at the same time as Yaxchilan, Bonampak and Palenque , all depending on the itinerary you choose.
The most exciting river is from Lacanja because we are going to paddle through waterfalls, jumping from one to another, with sections of difficulty III through the waterfalls that can reach up to 2.50 meters high. During this adventure we will be able to finish the tour with a walk through the archeological zone and cool off with a dip in the Moctuniha waterfalls, in the middle of the Lacandon Jungle.
If we do the rafting activity in the Río Usumacinta , one of the most abundant in Mexico, we will find class III and IV rapids until we reach the camp.

The Sima de las Cotorras is a large limestone pit of 160 meters in diameter, with a depth of 140 meters, so you have 140 meters of vertical wall to descend rappelling through it until you reach to a small rainforest.
